Mothdust entered the camp, scanning her surrondings as she walked towards the fresh kill pile. She stared at it with a pair of yellow eyes. Should I eat something? The golden dappled she-cat's stomach rumbled. Mothdust sighed and plucked a robin from the pile. The she-cat dragged it over to her usual eating spot and began to gulp it down. Her mouth watered. Prey was just so tasty and juicy. Mothdust finished her meal before grooming her dappled fur.
The golden dappled she-cat's tail twitched as a cat walked towards her. "Hello? Who are you?" Mothdust questioned head tilting from one side to another. Her ears pricked up as she waited for an answer.

Shadepaw was still flicking scraps of moss from his bedding off of his long, fluffy fur when a voice startled him. His amber eyes scanned his surroundings and he noticed Mothdust looking towards him. He jumped a tiny bit and dipped his head. "It's me, Shadepaw." He meowed to the pretty dappled she-cat politely. "Sorry to startle you." He purred, sitting up and wrapping his tail around his paws. His muscles were aching from training the day before, and he so badly wanted to collapse and sleep for another moon. Shadepaw was not a very good fighter, so he had been trying his best all these moons as an apprentice. He was worried all the younger apprentices were going to surpass him and get their warrior names before him.
